Initial Consortium (2025-2026)
The Women in Harmoniemusik Project began as part of a doctoral thesis at the University of Minnesota by Rose Craig Tyler. The initial consortium brought together eight composers to write new works for harmonie instrumentation and was supported by 46 consortium members.
All eight pieces were premiered by LADYBAND Minneapolis throughout 2025-2026 with the final premiere taking place in May of 2026.
Thank you to the consortium members and donors who supported the first eight pieces of this project!
